For those who are curious about the Old Batavia (Kota Tua/Old Jakarta), don’t miss the opportunity to exploring and listening to stories and history that attached to this area which was called “The Queen of the East” in its heyday.

 

Accompanied by a certified English speaking guide, we will explore the old fame of “Kota Tua” which was used as the basis for the VOC (Dutch East India Company) Headquarter in Asia. Afterwards, we will stroll down to the remaining old city walls of Batavia and also the warehouses that used to store the spices and the logistics for the company. Passing through the oldest wooden drawbridge in Batavia and many more places.

 

In about 3 hours, we will walk through the footpath of VOC era. While also exercising by walking, we will learn more about the importance of Batavia (now : Jakarta) during the Dutch Colonial era. Do not forget to take pictures of the iconic spots.

RESHEDULE & REFUND POLICY

 

The tour cannot be refunded unless there is a cancellation from WALK INDIES.

The tour will only be canceled if it does not reach the minimum number of participants, so the tour fee will be fully refunded.

The itinerary can change at any time depending on the situation and conditions on the ground.

Tours can be rescheduled for free / free of charge no later than confirmation 10 days before the tour date

If within less than 10 days before the date of the tour until 1X24 hours, participants wish to reschedule, a rescheduling fee of IDR 100,000/person is charged.

If less than 1X24 hours before the tour date, the participant who wants to reschedule is considered to have made a new purchase (cannot be rescheduled).
